   Sign in with your email A six-digit code arrives. There is no password to invent or forget — the first code you use creates your account.

   Make a family and invite the household They get an email. Up to ten people, and the invitation only works for the address it was sent to.

   Add things, tick them off Everyone can do both. No admin, no permissions to hand out — it is a shopping list, not an org chart.

Android will warn you before installing an app from outside the Play Store. Allow it for your browser once, and the install goes ahead.
